Description Technical Specs Needed To Complete

The Blade® 130 X is a sub-micro, 3D stunner that eagerly performs piro flips, tic tocs, hurricanes, funnels and more with the energy and precision of a machine several times its size. At the center of this incredible performance is the AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) Flybarless System. This system uses a 3-axis MEMS sensor and exclusive flight control software to deliver the kind of responsiveness and neutral stability that makes you feel like you’re flying a much bigger heli. This, along with a powerful brushless motor and shaft-driven tail, lets you push the limits, indoors or out, with absolute control.

** This helicopter is intended for advanced CCPM pilots only. It is capable of extremely high head speeds and aggressive 3D maneuvers.

Great little heli - handles like a larger machine.  It is a good deal with the latest price reduction from Horizon Hobby (are they coming out with verison2?).
One weak link is the plastic gears on tiny D shafts - the center of the gear rounds out very easily, and the small metal gear at the front of the tail drive shaft is not much better.
Microheli sells hardened steel gears for both the front and back of the tail drive shaft, and unless you are so good that you never crash the thing, I think this upgrade should be considered mandatory.

Great Little Helicopter July 15, 2014

This is a great little Helicopter.  I find it enjoyable to fly, capable of doing all the 3D stunts.  I have crashed it many times into tall grass, we no damage, its amazing.  I ordered this Heli with standard free shipping and recieved it 2 days later!

Awesome June 27, 2014

Out of the box there are a few things to check out to, which can be found on the 130x forums on heli freaks.  However when mine arrived the only thing I had to do was tighten the blade grips a bit.

That being said the heli is awesome!  I have been flying a Nano CPX for over a year now and was worried about going to a bigger heli.

My worries were really unfounded, its so much more stable the the ncpx and can still take the occasionally tumble (recommend flying over grass).  The power in comparison is amazing, I can still hear the head speed drop during more aggressive maneuvers but all in all I love it.  I think I will be satisfied with this heli for a long time to come before I purchase something larger.

Great Step Up July 27, 2012
Reviewer: Dan Bo from Carlstadt, NJ United States
This simply blows away the MCPX, I know it's in a different class, but for micro helis this is the one to get.
Just like the previous reviewer I had no idea the larger tail gear would strip on the shaft so easily. I barely touched the grass and at the end of the flight I had no tail control. Easy enough to fix but it's way to fragile to even take off or land on grass in my opinion. But other than that I really like the solid stable feel and power. So far it's the best FBL in it's class.  Only 4 stars because of the soft tail gear.
