Description   Blue Thunder Race Formula is formulated for the serious competitive racer that wants to get the most out of his engine. Race Formula features an increased castor-to-synthetic oil ratio with additives that allow race engines to be leaned to peak performance. This castor-enhanced formula also allows broader needle settings that let experienced tuners tweak every last bit of power from their engine. Because Race Formula can be run at these lean settings it's possible to squeeze an extra 20 to 30 seconds of fuel mileage out of each tank. Blue Thunder Race Formula is designed so you can run it at very lean, maximum power settings. Unlike regular Blue Thunder with Thermal Overload Protection, it is possible to over-lean, and consequently, overheat your engine. Therefore it is important to be able to recognize an over-lean mixture. Most experienced racers are familiar with this condition and can recognize it. If you plan on using Race Formula for maximum power from your engine, we strongly recommend you monitor engine temperatures with a probe.
