The "Cub" shipped to me came with it's 2 cell 180 mAh Lipo battery and its unique charger with aligator clips instead of a handy wall plug. I was able to use a 12 V adapter from another charger which worked fine with the Carbon Cub charger. There was not an extra prop in my box ! I have come to expect a spare prop included with BNF airplanes. The little plane performed well, even in an 8 mph wind.;the AX3S Gyro system lending noticeable stability! Be sure to read the manual to learn about adjusting the flaps; they are controlled with the "gear" channel! I like the broad, soft tires on it's landing gear. The Carbon Cub is an enjoyable step up from the average "micro" plane out there.

Quality is decreasing at E-Flite. I have over a dozen E-Flite planes that were great. I had problems with last 2 out of 3 planes. There pushing out new planes too fast. The Cub had battery hatch magnet off, left wing spar off, paint poor, and ASX not tuned properly creating plane that was less stable than without it.

Well, I have to say I was a little skeptical about the claims about the AS3X stabilization system and when I opened up the box and looked at this little plane (after spending $170), I said no way. Then I took it out (0 assembly required by the way) and just let it rip and was blown away. If you are a novice- intermediate pilot, it is truly confidence inspiring. I was doing some of my first knife edges I've ever done well after a couple of flights. It flies like it's on rails. I tried it in 10mph winds that were gusting and it still is unbelievably stable for plane this small.
Just a couple of suggestions and picks, make sure you have a dc converter for the charger. It is a somewhat fragile plane for transport so keep the box! makes a great carrying case. I wish the floats (which are an ex accessory) were easier to put on and take off but that's really the one drawback about this great little plane. Any plans for a large scale version? I'll buy it now.

This plane is very good against a good gust of wind with the new AS3X System. The landing lights along with the flaps are a great addition to the tiny plane. It flies great and is definitely worth the price.
