After owning two UM's I had given up on micro,s. Two fragile and basically boring. But I wanted something to fly on a moments notice in moderate winds. The Mig 15 UMX fit the bill perfectly. My first EDF is a solid performer. The flight envelope is huge for this little flyer. Fast, very nimble and responsive. A real joy to fly. The take offs are a no brainer but the nose gear is a little fragile if you come in to heavy. Putting the Beast servo covers on should be manditory if you fly no gear to keep crud out of the servo screws. Bigger and heavier than a UM the new technology handles the wind very well. A sweet plane.

This is the most fun, most durable and best flying micro yet. And it's a ducted fan that sounds like a jet as it whizzes by you. It flies just as stable as my Habu ! And I love the fact that I can just walk right out of my house and take off from my driveway and land on the street, and taxi back to the edge of my driveway. Since I have a child now it's hard to get out to the field and fly my large scale planes and 90 sized helis - (No packing up gear, snacks, lugging chargers power supplies, Honda generator, or waiting around for your turn to fly....) The neighbors always get a kick out of watching and enjoy the airshow. RedRocket always has the best price with their coupon code incentives.

Red Rocket had a good price and fast delivery. The jet flew perfectly.The problem was the flight lasted just over a minute because the elevator locked-up.I replaced the servo only to find that the aileron servo died in its neutral state. I'm now waiting for Horizon Hobby to repair or replace. I have over a dozen ultra-micro planes from them with no problems. Most bought from Red Rocket.
