The First Great Helicopter |

I have had a lot of cheap little helicopters (picoZ, Havoc, to name a few) and they are all 20 bucks and last about 20 minutes (not the batteries, they break in 20 minutes, the batteries last 2 minutes) plus all they do is hover and go aroud in circles.
But this helicopter is different.
First it is $100 ($90, with $10 rebate until 12/31/09).
Second it's durable (I have had it for over 20 minutes and its hasn't broken yet). Plus if it does break it has a full line of replacement parts (you could build the helicopter on parts alone).
Third the batteries last about 10 minutes and take about 20to charge (I have the 110mah battery, but one comment about the charger, get rechargeable for it it gobbles up batteries).
Overall when I got this I thought it would be so easy I would be bored with in the hour, wrong I could fly it but it takes practice to get good at this little bugger (but if you do want something harder there's the Blade MSR )

This is the first heli I have been able to fly. It is cute, stable and lots of fun to fly in no wind or indoors. It could use some more forward control, it is very slow in forward flight, otherwise it's great.
