This is an awesome step up from the MCX. The agility is amazing and the speed is much greater than the MCX. I had to use a dual rate for a while because it is deceiving in speed and doesn't return to hover as quickly as the MCX. So indoors, you can fly right into a wall if not careful or if you are not able to control aileron direction. However, this guy is as durable as advertised. I dumped it a few times while in full mode but outside of a couple scratches, it remained in tact. It's a great indoor heli & one can fly in a 10x10 room but you won't get the full feel. You need about 20-25 feet X 10 or so to get the real feel. It bound easily to my Spectrum DX6i and I set the DX/Combo controls to around 70-80% which worked very well. The dual rate on the transmitter that comes with the MCX will work as well. I'm having a ton of fun with it.

Wonderful Product. Very strong and Durable. Had mine for 2 weeks now and it has survived about 50 hard crashes. I finally broke a blade grip. Very fast and manuverable. It is also fairly stable if properly trimmed. By the time I had my CX2 2 weeks I had put another $100 in replacement parts in it.

This has the big heli experience for a mostly indoor unit. Well built and stable, after just a few hoover flights, you can really move out. It only takes a short while to get the trim correct and a flyin' you will be. It definately gives you the urge for bigger machines.

This is an amazing little helicopter! It does not break easy! For beginner pilots looking to learn a single rotor helicopter this is the BEST choice. Larger helicopters such as the blade CP are great helicopters, don't get me wrong, but a beginner can and will crash, and with larger helicopters, almost every crash results in something breaking. With the Blade mSR you have a lot more forgiveness! It handles wonderful and for advanced pilots you can really zip this thing around! It flies amazing!!!
But enough typing... Check out my VIDEO review which shows what comes in the box, how to bind to a transmitter, and the first flight!
