The MSR |

Update: I got the MSR too soon. Gone back to the MCX to finish learning how to fly a heli. Got to be able to hover and land on a spot. Hand-eye.
***The MSR is a fire-breathing-hotrod. Sooo much fun. Don't try this one as your first heli.
In fact, don't try a heli at all if you haven't flown RC before. The hand-eye thing takes a very long time to learn. I flew RC fixed wing airplanes for years before getting into the helis. It's a very hard transition to helis. A brainer.
But the MSR is so hot it's scary. It's an adrenalin trip. A RUSH. It'll get away from you. The MCX is a much better choice for beginners at the copter scene . But that one breaks easy. Real easy. It's all fun. But there you have a choice. Easy to fly, easy to break - hard to fly, hard to break.
Start with the MCX, fly it, break it, fix it, and then move to the MSR.

This is an amazing little helicopter! It does not break easy! For beginner pilots looking to learn a single rotor helicopter this is the BEST choice. Larger helicopters such as the blade CP are great helicopters, don't get me wrong, but a beginner can and will crash, and with larger helicopters, almost every crash results in something breaking. With the Blade mSR you have a lot more forgiveness! It handles wonderful and for advanced pilots you can really zip this thing around! It flies amazing!!!
But enough typing... Check out my VIDEO review which shows what comes in the box, how to bind to a transmitter, and the first flight!
