Building: The M1A1 Flying Tank is easy to build, even for people that don't do much building. The design is straight forward and only requires simple hobby tools and glues. A complete fully illustrated instruction manual guides you step by step through the building process. We recommend this kit to anyone who wants a different looking, easy to fly plane. Building is a weekends work and can be finished with your choice of covering and paints. The kit can be built and ready to fly in less time than many ARF's!

Flight Performance: Just like any other airplane in your arsenal, simply apply throttle and pull back on the elevator once the tank is up to speed. Fly the low and slow to show it's camouflage colors with little fear of stalling. At high speeds the M1A1 Flying Tank tracks like it's on rails. With the elevons, virtually any aerobatic maneuver is possible.

Included with Kit: Laser cut coroplast tank parts, balsa and lite ply. CNC cut foam wing core and elevons. Fully illustrated step by step instruction manual. Full hardware kit (landing gear, screws, bolts, nuts, fittings, control horns, wheel collars, etc...)

Conclusions: The M1A1 Flying Tank will redefine the War Bird Category. Not only does it look great taxing on the ground, but also will wow those war bird buffs once it takes to the air. It can be painted in a variety of camouflage paint schemes to suit any war period in history. With its highly detailed scale looks, every one will think it's just a tank until it takes to the air.
