smaller and 25% lighter. The HERO3: Silver Edition is wearable and gear mountable, waterproof to
197' (60m), and is capable of capturing ultra-wide 1080p 30 fps and
720p 60 fps video plus 11MP photos at a rate of 10 photos per second making it easy to capture and share your world. The built in Wi-Fi enables remote control via Wi-Fi Remote (optional accessory), or remote control plus live video preview and playback on smartphones and tablets running the free GoPro app.

The HERO3:
Silver Edition features built-in Wi-Fi and is compatible with both the
Wi-Fi Remote (optional accessory) and the GoPro App. The Wi-Fi Remote
(not included) is a waterproof, wearable remote control that can control
up to 50 Wi-Fi-enabled GoPros at a time from a range of 600'. The
HERO3: Silver Edition's built in Wi-Fi means it can also be controlled
by iOS smartphones and tablets running the GoPro App*. The GoPro App
enables full camera control and live scene preview on any compatible iOS
smartphone or tablet. *A software update for your HERO3 camera is
required before using the GoPro app. GoPro app compatibility with the
HERO3: Silver Edition will be available November 12, 2012.

Notes
- Extreme cold temperatures may decrease battery life. For use in these conditions it is suggested to keep camera in a warm place prior to use
- To maximize HERO3 battery life when shooting longer duration activities, it is best to use camera without LCT Touch BacPac attached and make sure Wi-Fi is turned OFF
- Using protune mode will increase power consumption. May vary per mode and camera edition.

The HERO3: Silver Edition is compatible with all GoPro mounting
accessories and older generation BacPacs along with the newer
generation LCD Touch BacPac and 2nd generation Battery BacPac. However,
as all HERO3 cameras have a new size and shape and are not compatible
with HERO2 housings.
