Description Technical Specs

As a member of ParkZone’s groundbreaking Etomic™ family of RTF ultra-micro aircraft, the Ember 2 boasts a remarkably compact design and slow-flying capabilities perfect for indoor fun (or outdoors on a calm day). Weighing less than an ounce, seasoned pilots will be able to handle this sleek micro flyer in small spaces with ease and confidence, while those new to micro will be given a unique RC experience. The Ember 2’s exceptional Spektrum™ DSM2 radio technology, which eliminates interference so multiple planes can fly at the same time, is paired with 3-channel capability to give you precise control. Meanwhile, the plane’s light wing loading allows for the kind of slow flight you’ll have to see to believe.

After installing the AA batteries in the charger, simply charge the flight battery (which takes approximately 20 minutes) and you’ll soon be enjoying a micro experience highlighted by extended flight times and maximum performance, along with the ability to perform 3-channel aerobatics sure to put a smile on your face. From sharp looks to instant enjoyment, the Ember 2 delivers on everything you’ve grown to love about ParkZone’s products and their unique niche in the world of ultra-lightweight aircraft. Parkzone Ember II September 8, 2009
Reviewer: John Jennings from Enterprise, AL United States
This plane is just a little faster than a Vapor. It is a very durable trainer that is fun to fly. It could probably penetrate a very slow, 3-4 mph,  breeze if flown outside.

To give a comparison for speed, you would probably have no trouble passing it if you were jogging. I fly mine in a gym. Even from below the basketball nets, about 8 feet, it still takes a while to hit the floor. It bounces off of everything, walls,  ceiling beams, floor and backstops. I have yet to break any part and I have banged it into just about everything at full speed.

my piloting skills have really imroved with this aircraft. I rarely crash now.

It was so much fun to fly, I bought another one so a buddy could fly with me.

It is not too aerobatic, but  neither am I. It is a superior, maintenance free, trainer.

The DSM2 transmitter for my Vapor was used as a second transmitter. It took several tries and about 5 minutes  for the reciever to bind. After that I had no trouble.
