The Radian was perfect! It went together easy and it balanced perfect . I covered the bottom surface of the wings with clear packing tape first and did the same to the aft fuselage to stiffen up the tail. First flight went perfect with the trim being right on. I checked the trim with the motor off first then launched it with 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. I love it! I actually caught it in my hand the first two flights. Mind you, I have not flown an R/C for around five years. The performance is great and the damn thing does not want to come down. The battery will last forever because it only needs to be on for seconds at a time and it goes up on anything. This is a wonderful toy and I recommend it to everyone. Oh, the power is incredible! It will climb straight up forever! I believe it can be a wonderful plane if it had half as much power. Overall, I love the Radiant.

Radian RTF is my first plane. I did a simulator for a couple hours then flew it with an experienced friend for two hours. Unbelievably easy to fly and learn to maneuver. I did a loop, landed a dozen times smoothly with minimal assist. I went home and flew alone off the cliff that my home is perched on. Landings were tough because of the terrain but no damage despite nosing into a rock once. Very little motor use needed when there is a little wind or thermals. Great plane!

I bought the Radian and I am a novice pilot and have flown some other other EP 2 meter sailplanes and they just didn't seem to float but would sink but the Radian goes up well on only half throttle and it floats when you turn off the power. You can tell when your in lift because this plane is light and reponds well to the air currents. I am using oi to get better at finding lifts and helping me become a better sailplane pilot. I have a blast with it and can easly fly an hour on one battery. I highly recommed the Radian

Parkzone Radian Sailplane, a winner

Parkzone did a nice job on the Radian, flights are lengthy, brushless motor takes her up easily at only half throttle, its a true floater, flew the EasyStar nice trainer, but he Radian is simply great, responds to lighter lift, and as a bonus will handle over 10 MPH winds.. Suggest flush or slightest downtrim on the elevator no up required at all, keep the nose level on launch and your in for a treat..flight times are near an hour with zero lift, a wonderful flyer, you won't regret this one, fantastic..BEST WARREN ...
