It comes out of the box programmed to provide softer climb, pitch and roll response around the center of stick movement. This, combined with the tough, two-piece main frame and lower head speed, makes the Blade SR more forgiving and easier to master than most conventional CP helis. I have the Sr and I do have to say its a fun little heli. For the money its an awsome deal. Mine was perfect out the box. Near hands off hovering like they show you in the videos.
Now I have had tail motor issues but replaced with a new motor(that horizon sent me under warrenty) and its now perfect.  I have had more fun with this heli than I expected.  Fun little heli for the money.

Be prepared for a different helicopter experience coming from micros or small pocket heli's.  Get the training gear, get the training gear, get the training gear.  The instructions state that the heli has been test flown and is ready to fly.  Not the case for me!  The first couple of flights (crashes) were almost completely uncontrollable.  The roll axis was way off, even with full left trim, the heli rolled badly to the right.  To top it off I thought I could go without training gear.  Good thing is the parts are inexpensive if you can find them!  No one seems to carry what you need, it's always on backorder.
