I fly my Vapor in a gym. It flys at a speed comparable to fast walk. I was the the least experienced beginner pilot one can imagine.
I try to keep the Vapor between the bottom of the basketbal nets and the floor. It still takes quite a while, several seconds, to actually reach the floor. Anyone with reasonable reflexes will have no problem recovering. I am really old and even I do not crash much any more.
It bounces off of walls.
The wing fabric finally came loose, but did not tear. When you stick the fabric back to the carbon rod, with the recommended CA glue, try to avoid introducing a warp. I did finally break a prop, but it took weeks of abuse.
I shorted the original Vapor reciever out when I used the steel end of a broom handle to free it from a basketball net. It smoked!
My Vapor flew a little tail low which may have contributed to its very modest speed. The battery does not stick well to the velcro provided. I use regular tape.
