Red Rocket Hobbies Store Policy

Holiday Return Extension:
Any item purchased between 11-1-2013 to 12-31-2013 may be returned to us by January 31st, 2014. This applies to new and unused items only. We are not able to accept holiday returns beyond this deadline.


Our Return Policy Highlights at a Glance:
  • No Restock Fees: Red Rocket Hobbies does not charge restock fees when items are returned in new and unused condition. As long as it's returned new we charge zero restock fees. For items that appear to be used we will work with you on a case by case basis.
  • Return Shipping Costs: All return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
  • Returns Window: Enjoy a full 30 days from the time your order arrives to return your item to us. We also have extended holiday return times (See Holiday Return Extension above). 
  • Prompt Refunds: We take pride in a quick and easy return process. Most refunds are completed the same day your return arrives at our warehouse. Refunds are provided via the same method you used to pay for your order. During the busy holiday shopping season refunds are generally processed in 2-3 days after your return arrives in our warehouse.

Warranty and Guarantee:

Due to the nature of our products, once used they can not be returned (does not apply to defective items). For unused or defective products, we will exchange them for a different item of equal value, or refund per our return policy for up to 30 days after purchase. To qualify for exchange or refund the product must be brand new and unused. The customer will be responsible for round trip shipping expenses for the exchange or refund.

Due to parcel insurance rules, Red Rocket Hobby Shop is not responsible for lost or damaged packages after delivery occurs. Packages are usually shipped without a signature requirement. If you would like a signature required for delivery of your shipment please notify us at the time you place your order.

Defective Items:
If you have a defective product we will do everything we can to replace the product or get you replacement parts. Please keep in mind that any crash damage is not covered under our return or warranty policy. Your satisfaction with our products is a priority to us, and we work hard to ensure our customers have a great experience and fun with our products. Crash damage is not considered a defect under any circumstance.
 
Refund Policy:
Any product ordered from our company may be returned for a refund or exchange for a period of up to 30 days after purchase. The return window for orders is extended through the holiday period (see above). Purchase date is the date we shipped the item to you. Items returned must be brand new, complete, and in the retail package with cords still neatly tied, parts still in plastic bags unopened etc. We do not accept returns on items that would appear used and must arrive in our warehouse in brand new condition. Returns with missing parts, missing boxes, not packaged in the original retail box, or that appear to be used are not eligible for return. The item must be returned in the same condition it was delivered. This does not apply to defective items.
 
Restocking Fees:
For items returned for refund: Original shipping charges paid by our company for your order, even if the item purchased had a free shipping offer at the time it was shipped, will be subtracted from the refund amount. There is no restock fee for any order canceled before it is processed, any return of a defective item, or any item returned for exchange. Crash damage does not apply and items with crash damage are not returnable.

Click here to complete an EZ Return Form and we will promptly issue an RMA number and give you instructions for the return.  Shipping charges paid by us are not refundable in the event of a return. Also, all return shipping costs will be billed to the customer making the exchange. No returns are accepted after 30 days from purchase. We will assist all of our customers with fast and prompt customer service in the event of a manufacturer defect.

Inventory and Stock Status: It is our policy to show most items on our website in stock at all times.  If an item is backordered for a substaintial period of time we will post a message near the add to cart button.  We recommend that you email or call us to verify inventory information if an item you wish to purchase is time critical.  Our company offers real time order information using your account in the "My Account" link at the top right of our webpages.  During normal business hours we update order status to inform you of any delay with your order.  To obtain an update about your order you must login to your customer account on our website and click view/change order.  Currently we are not able to send emails regarding backorder notices because we offer real time order tracking on our website. 

Pricing: We make every effort to have correct pricing and shipping costs displayed on our website.  In the event that shipping and or pricing may not be accurate due to a typographical error or other system glitch, we will contact you before your order is shipped.  We reserve the right to charge the advertised price listed on our website for your order, and or additional shipping charges if unpublished over sized fees apply or pricing errors occur during your checkout process. It is possible that an item placed on back order may have a manufacturer price increase before the order can be shipped. We make no warranty or guarantee on prices for items back ordered. In the event a manufacturer raises a price on a back ordered item we will notify you about the price increase before the item is shipped.

Order Cancellation Fee:
We charge a $10 order cancellation fee for orders containing in stock items that are cancelled before shipment. In addition to this fee, orders that have been shipped and are cancelled or refused prior to delivery will be billed the $10 handling fee plus shipping charges incurred for round trip shipment back to our warehouse. This fee applies to any order shipped that is unclaimed and returned to our warehouse by the shipping carrier. This fee does not apply to orders placed for items which are back ordered, if the order is cancelled before it is processed or shipped. If a shipment that leaves our warehouse is refused, we will refund the order after it arrives back at our warehouse. Shipping expenses would be held from the refund amount.

Privacy Policy:
Your personal information including email addresses and credit card information will be strictly protected and not revealed to anyone outside of our company. We do not sell or disclose customer information to other companies or persons. We may offer our customers notification of sales, special pricing, or new products via email. If you would like to be removed from our notify list at any time please click on the "remove" at the bottom of the email offer. Our servers and website stores are encrypted for your security. Red Rocket Hobby Shop is an authorized merchant for online sales by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

This includes but is not limited to any personal injury or personal or business property loss as a direct result of failure or malfunction or delay in delivery of any of our products.
